Why I Blog

Why I Blog

To Research a Business Problem and Then “Focus” Using Critical Writing.

In 1997 when my search engine was Northern Lights and my favorite Blog was “HotWired’ (the first commercial magazine site). Who knew that 20 years later the impact! Bloggers were starting to exponentially populate search engines and university research was being published on the net.

At the time I wanted  to teach myself this medium and address my every day software start up marketing and sales topics.

On occassion my interest wains. It is not always the easiest thing to do, but it helps to more objectively focus. I have been blogging for a long time, but I stopped about 2 years ago. I realized that I did not have the freedom to use this medium the way I did in the past. I am excited to have this freedom again and am excited to be back.

Here are other great reasons why to Blog:

To Market or Promote Something

To Help People

To Establish “Thought Leadership”

To Connect

To Sway People’s Thinking

To Force yourself to Stay Current

To Make Money (Readership)

To Have Fun and Be Creative
